The Starka Group is one of the leading companies in the market for prefabricated concrete products. The parent company is Starka AB, and the group includes three companies: one in Lund (office with 14 employees), one in Kristianstad (where Starka Betongelement AB has its production and 140 employees), one in Ängelholm (Starka Betongprodukter with 15 employees), and a production facility in Arboga (for Starka Betongelement with 70 employees). Starka is an independent privately-owned company in its third generation that manufactures and sells prefabricated concrete products. We have specialist expertise and modern resources for the development and manufacturing of concrete elements, retaining walls, and site completion. Technical Sales Representative for Starka Betongprodukter
We at Starka Betongprodukter are now looking for a Technical Sales Representative to expand our team in Ängelholm.
Responsibilities
In the role of Technical Sales Representative, you will be an important part of our cohesive team where we strive together to deliver a professional and engaging customer experience. You will be responsible for sales, quotation work, as well as handling orders and quotes for our high-quality Starka products. Your task is to interpret customer documentation and drawings to create tailored solutions based on Starka Betongprodukter's range. With the help of CAD, you will create review documents and drive customer projects from the bidding phase to final delivery, including follow-up.
As the person responsible for your district and customer portfolio, you will actively work on customer outreach, which includes personal customer visits and serving as an important link between production and sales, as well as preparing manufacturing drawings when needed. Market insight is crucial, and you will keep Starka Betongprodukter updated on market trends, new customers, and current projects. We are looking for someone who enjoys making deals and is driven by seeing satisfied customers. With your business acumen and your sense for long-term relationships, you play a key role in securing both new projects and recurring collaborations.
Job Duties
Your role includes receiving orders and responding to quotation requests, creating bids based on the customer's project and wishes, and finalizing negotiations on quotes to secure orders. You will ensure that each customer receives the best technical solution and coordinate with production and transport to keep the project in line with agreements. You have a natural sense for business opportunities and see every customer contact as an opportunity to create value, while also contributing to maintaining the company's reputation for quality and service.
Education and Experience
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in a similar role, preferably with a technical background. We would like you to have experience from the construction and civil engineering industry as well as knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D or similar programs.
You are a person who is meticulous, structured, and unpretentious, and you are used to taking responsibility. At the same time, you have a strong sales drive and are naturally skilled at building and maintaining long-term relationships. You have a high level of self-confidence, are eager to achieve results, and identify business opportunities. Sales and customer contact are something you are passionate about, and you understand the value of creating and maintaining strong customer relationships over time. Putting the customer first and ensuring satisfied customers is a given for you.
Personal Qualities
We are looking for an engaged and results-oriented Technical Sales Representative who can smoothly navigate between technical details and business relationships. In our small and closely-knit company, consisting of only 15 people, of which 5 are office staff, each individual is important. As a person, we believe you are social, outgoing, and driven. We also see that you are an unpretentious and committed person who is good at building relationships. You are a business-oriented person with a genuine interest in understanding the customer's needs and delivering solutions that make a difference. We value a personality characterized by flexibility, independence, and a desire for continuous development.
Travel in the Job
The role involves travel, the extent of which may vary depending on the season and business needs. The travels can range from day trips to shorter overnight stays, with frequency determined by the projects and customer requirements.
