Do you want to be part of a socially important operation where safety, precision, and collaboration are at the center? Ahead of the spring revision at OKG in Oskarshamn, we are looking for several engaged and responsible employees for OKG's revision 2026 from March 26 to May 22, 2026, with the possibility of extension.
As part of our service team at OKG, you will be an important cog in the work to create and maintain a safe environment during the revision. Decontamination, lifting, and FME will primarily take place within controlled areas where radiation is present. Cleaning will only occur on the uncontrolled side. Working hours vary and there is the possibility to work both daytime and shifts, depending on needs and assignments.
Even though the assignment is time-limited, it opens doors to much more. ISS collaborates with several of Sweden's nuclear facilities, and for the right person, there are good opportunities to:
- participate in upcoming revisions at other nuclear power plants,
- build valuable experience in a nuclear environment,
- and eventually establish oneself at OKG or other facilities in the industry.
This is, in other words, a chance to get a foot in a unique and safety-critical operation – where experience, collaboration, and responsibility truly make a difference.
Our Various Services
Decontamination and cleaning involve cleaning general surfaces, components, tanks, system parts, pipes, and valves from radioactive and conventional contamination.
Transport operators, such as safe lifts, concrete blocks, and components within the facility (Requirements: valid and approved training according to KIKA – Blue, Green & Yellow, FME inspector tasks, where you prevent and monitor that foreign materials (Foreign Material Exclusion) are not introduced into systems, components, or work areas.
Lock guard service, responsible for monitoring and recording entry and exit during work in confined or narrow spaces, and ensuring that safety regulations and FME procedures are followed.

Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, and enjoys practical work. You are a team player with a safety mindset and thrive in environments where structure and precision are important.
We would like you to:
- Have experience in decontamination, industrial or maintenance work
- Have good physical ability
- Master Swedish in speech and writing
- Have experience from nuclear operations (meritorious)
Meritorious training: KIKA (travers), protection and safety training, Radiation Protection in Practice, forklift license, lift, fall protection, and previous experience of FME work or lock guard service.
