Eco Log is now looking for an operational purchaser to join our purchasing team! If you are a positive person with a strong sense of service, preferably with an interest in machinery and technology, this could be the position for you. You will work in a close-knit team at our headquarters in Söderhamn.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As an operational purchaser, you will be responsible, together with your team, for the entire purchasing flow. You will work with purchases primarily from already established suppliers.

You will play an important role in driving purchases for production and our spare parts sales to customers worldwide, and you will work closely with both production and our spare parts sellers. You will work daily in our business system Monitor G5.

ABOUT THE TASKS

We prefer that you are self-driven, solution-focused, and can manage your work and its processes independently. Your overall tasks will include:

• Purchasing materials for production and spare parts sales
• Monitoring deliveries and transportation, ensuring timely procurement of materials
• Proactively working to prevent material shortages through material clearance
• Requesting quotes and updating prices in Monitor G5
• Checking invoices against orders to identify price discrepancies
• Supplier visits
• Other administrative tasks within the department

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in the role of operational purchaser, we see that you are a driven and goal-oriented person, flexible, and able to adapt to work situations and assist where temporary needs may arise. You will have daily contact with suppliers via phone, email, and Teams meetings, so we expect you to have good social and communication skills and be able to collaborate easily with others.

You should be stress-resistant and solution-oriented, and enjoy working on multiple tasks simultaneously, as this is common in this role. You work meticulously and structured, allowing you to easily prioritize what needs to be done.

To succeed in this role, you have previous work experience in purchasing or relevant higher education. Experience in the forestry machinery, construction, and/or automotive industry, as well as experience with the business system Monitor, is considered an advantage.

You speak and write Swedish and English fluently.
