Information about the Bus Driver Training

The program is conducted in collaboration with industry experts through teacher-led sessions and self-study. The training lasts for 10 weeks and includes a combination of theoretical and practical elements that provide you with the qualifications required to perform your job as a professional driver. Through the training, you will receive a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and a D driver's license. After completing the training, you will have guaranteed employment through us with an assignment at our client Nobina.

Information about the Position

After completing the training, you will have a solid foundation for your new role as a bus driver. The assignment is part of our staffing services, and you will be employed by Professionals Nord for 12 months. Provided that the collaboration works well, you will then be employed by Nobina.

At the request of our client, we will conduct a background check on all our applicants. This will take place during the first interview.

Job Responsibilities

As a bus driver at Nobina, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring safe and secure driving of the bus according to the timetable and specified routes.
• Ensuring a high level of service: Interacting with passengers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conducting safety checks: Inspecting the bus's brakes, doors, tires, and lighting before and after driving.

The work involves freedom under responsibility where you, in consultation with the transport management and colleagues, ensure that the daily order distribution is completed according to the customer's needs and wishes.

The work shifts are scheduled between 05:00 and 19:00 and may vary in length. You will work approximately 40 hours a week, spread over about four days, with work scheduled on both weekdays and weekends.

Candidate Profile

To thrive and succeed in the role, it is important that you have a genuine interest and are motivated to work as a bus driver at Nobina long-term. We also see that you are:

• Service-oriented
• Responsible
• Have good collaboration skills

You need to have a B driver's license and be comfortable with both Swedish and English.
