We are seeking several individuals for seasonal employment with varying durations (2-5 months) starting in early June or as early as May 1.

The positions are located in the departments of Protected Nature and Environmental Analysis and Wildlife Management and may be shared between these. The departments work, among other things, with the management of nature reserves, environmental monitoring, invasive species, rich fens, wildlife management, endangered species, liming and lime effect monitoring, restoration of aquatic environments, and drive projects within these areas of operation.

One or two positions are focused on mowing meadow areas, painting boundary markings, and combating invasive species.

Quality assurance and compilation of collected data, as well as writing reports based on this, are other types of tasks relevant to the positions. Other operationally related tasks may also occur.

The work often involves long working days under field conditions, such as moving through terrain with field equipment, wading in running water, and working from a boat.

Overnight stays in other locations during the season may occur, and weekend work may be relevant. The County Administrative Board arranges introduction and training for the relevant tasks.
