It may also involve seeking projects, leading smaller projects, or participating as an expert in larger projects within the area driven by the County Administrative Board. It may also include providing support to other activities within the authority on the working group's issues and handling simpler matters such as procurements, contracts, or responding to consultations. Issues related to the authority's supervisory work in these matters may also be included.

During parts of the year, the work may involve long working days under field conditions such as walking in various terrain with field equipment, wading in running water, working from a boat, or similar. Overnight stays in other locations and work in the evening and on weekends may also occur.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a natural science degree from a university or a degree that the employer considers equivalent. A university degree in biology or ecology is an advantage.

Experience in analyzing and managing environmental data in GIS and other databases, fieldwork experience, and experience in project or work management within fieldwork are advantageous, as well as environmental work in Swedish public administration.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.

You have good collaboration skills and can work flexibly and structured with both people and tasks. As a person, you are self-driven and have the ability to take your own initiatives and quickly familiarize yourself with new issues from a holistic perspective.
