Are you a trained nurse interested in furthering your education to become an Intensive Care Nurse? We offer you the opportunity to train as an Intensive Care Nurse through our aspirant program.

The County Department of Anesthesia, Surgery, and Intensive Care is now seeking a nurse for the aspirant program for the intensive care unit in Örnsköldsvik. The workgroup is stable with many members having extensive experience in intensive care and who value interprofessional collaboration.

The aspirant program is an educational program where you, as a licensed nurse, are offered a position within the administration. You will follow a structure where you gradually take on more challenging tasks as your knowledge level increases through practical experience and education. During your further education to become an Intensive Care Nurse, there is an opportunity for study salary during the study period. After completing your studies and presenting your diploma, you will be employed in the department as an Intensive Care Nurse.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.

• You will initially work alongside a supervising Intensive Care Nurse in a multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, anesthesiologists, and physiotherapists.
• The work as an Intensive Care Nurse takes place in a complex care environment with varying care needs where you will use advanced medical technology and medication management.
• Intensive care is a broad area where constant development occurs and offers the opportunity to participate in improvement work even after completing specialist studies.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has experience working as a nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
