Bicycle Café Le Mond has been around for just over eleven years and is run by passionate coffee and cycling enthusiasts.

Le Mond is a food café focusing on delicious and well-prepared dishes made from the best ingredients. We have previously been KRAV-certified and mainly serve vegetarian food.

We serve breakfast and have a lunch menu on weekdays and a brunch menu on weekends. Opening hours are weekdays 08:00 - 20:00 and weekends 09:30 - 16:00.

Our team includes two kitchen assistants and one full-time barista on weekdays, as well as about 15 staff working part-time on weekends.

We speak Swedish and English. We have relatively low staff turnover and there is a lot of passion for food, coffee, and service.

We are now looking for an experienced barista to work mainly on weekends but also on weekdays.

Start date from January.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with espresso machines in a café. NOTE: KRAV!
• Is detail-oriented and passionate about providing guests with a maximum experience.
• Takes responsibility for the energy in the room. Contributes positive vibes, is inclusive, chill, socially skilled, and creates an atmosphere where people want to hang out often.
• Is a hard worker. Working in a café is very fun and social, but honestly, it is a long and demanding workday with cleaning, tidying, closing, and repeating tasks. Half fun, half tedious tasks, but all equally important.
• Has a focus on details. A café consists of 1000 small components that must be right. Adjusting, screwing, setting, feeling, squinting, smelling, listening.
• Is responsible. Ensures that the café is top-notch at all times.
• Is a good communicator and receiver of information. Responds to messages in the chat group, communicates with colleagues and employers.
• Can communicate reasonably well in Swedish, café Swedish.

If you perform according to the above, you will have a good and kind laid-back boss and accommodating colleagues, but if you slack off with your tasks, you will have a boss who tirelessly nags you until the details are right.
