About the position

The Medical Unit of Health Professions plays an important role in the care provided at Karolinska University Hospital. Here, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, psychologists, dietitians, and speech therapists work together. Supervision of students is a natural part of your role. Your tasks also include contributing to the development of care programs and workflows based on evidence and patient needs.

We are now looking for a physiotherapist for our inpatient care in trauma and orthopedics. Here, you will meet patients who have suffered trauma and/or orthopedic injuries of various kinds. We have both planned and emergency surgery in this area. You will work on one of the inpatient wards in a team together with occupational therapists, nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors.

This advertisement concerns a 4-month temporary position in inpatient care within trauma, orthopedics, and plastic surgery.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Licensed physiotherapist with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare.

Meritorious:

  • Experience working in emergency care
  • Master's degree and/or specialist competence
  • Previous experience and interest in working with patients in trauma/orthopedics
