Syrengården
Syrengården is centrally located in Ljungbyhed. The accommodation is on one level and is connected to Ljungbygården. We offer 18 apartments of approximately 35 square meters each. We have two common areas where residents can socialize with other residents and staff daily.
The work at the accommodation should focus on utilizing the strengths of each individual. Ensuring that good care, support, and social assistance go hand in hand with a good workplace.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a care assistant in Klippan Municipality, you will perform tasks covered by both the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act, where you are obligated to follow legal requirements and stay updated in your professional field. You are responsible for ensuring that the implementation plan exists and is updated, being a primary care contact, and that you report and document according to legal requirements. You will have an active and close collaboration with other professionals in the team such as case managers, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. You will actively and preparatively participate in team meetings with other professionals.
In your role, you always focus on the individual, carrying out the approved and prescribed interventions with a preventive and health-promoting perspective. You maintain a professional attitude where the individual and relatives should receive a good response with empathy in all situations.
Your ability to plan and execute care and support tasks is good. You should be able to reprioritize tasks according to prevailing situations and handle stressful situations. Furthermore, you should collaborate with colleagues to ensure that the individual receives their interventions with good quality. Guiding and supporting new colleagues and students is part of your work, as well as your own professional development.
You have good knowledge in personal care and can provide good and safe health and medical care based on the various care needs of the individual. Furthermore, you also have good knowledge in daily rehabilitation and care hygiene. You can perform social pedagogical tasks such as conversations, contact, and activation and have knowledge of health and medical tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Trained care assistant
Must have at least a passing grade according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's vocational package from the health and care program designed for work as a care assistant. The education corresponds to 1500 credits (see appendix 1).
- In the case of approved education where the title of care assistant was obtained before the 1500 credit education was introduced, the employer has the opportunity to make qualified individual assessments.
Delegations
Must maintain the knowledge required to receive the following delegations:
- Handing over medication
- Insulin treatment
- Subcutaneous injections in pre-filled syringes
- Tube feeding via Mic-Key or PEG.
Language Skills
Language skills in Swedish where you have the ability to understand, speak, read, and write the Swedish used in healthcare.
Computer Skills
Your ability to use technical equipment and technical aids as well as use information technology for information, communication, and documentation is good.
Driving license B, not required for care and nursing homes but is meritorious.
