Main Responsibilities

The unit manager is part of the leadership of the military base and the regiment, with the task of supporting the regimental commander in their work. The main responsibility is to actively ensure that the C I 19 decisions are implemented and adhered to in the operations. The tasks also include working with the influence of conscripts and developing the specialist officer corps.

Desired Qualifications

To apply, you must have a permanent military employment in the Armed Forces and currently work continuously within the Armed Forces.

You should have a good understanding of how the Armed Forces are led and managed. It is an advantage if you have served in a school, central staff, or have completed international military service.

• Have a degree from a specialist officer training equivalent.
• Have a passed language test.
• Be assessed as suitable in a psychological work assessment.
• Meet the Armed Forces' physical standards according to group B.
• Have completed with passing grades HSOU or KHS HK, TakA, SU, HOP equivalent.
• Have recognized good ability to conduct military operations in a subarctic environment.
• Have at least 25 years of work experience.

Great importance is placed on your personal qualities.

Your personal qualities include:

• Being a strong individual with high personal integrity, inner security, and well-developed social competence.
• Having a good ability to implement decisions made.
• Having solid military professional experience and having held several positions in different areas of work.
• Being a role model and having a high work capacity.

If you proceed in the process, you will undergo a number of interviews and tests. References must be provided upon request. The start date for the current position is planned for Midsummer 2026. You will be appointed for 5-7 years in the current position. The governing document is FM2023.652:20 General system description SO 9.
