Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care.

The health and medical care unit consists of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and HSL-USK. We work with patients aged 18 and older who require health and medical care at the primary care level in their homes, both in special and regular housing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a licensed nurse for a combined evening and night shift. The position is a permanent employment at 100% and involves work during evenings and nights throughout the municipality, both in regular and special housing. During the night, two nurses work together to ensure safe, secure, and quality care for our patients.

As an evening and night nurse, you are responsible for providing medical care and support to patients. The tasks include both planned and unplanned medical assessments, treatments, and follow-ups of care interventions, including end-of-life care.

You document care and treatment according to current routines and serve as a support for patients, relatives, and care staff. The work requires both independence and good collaboration skills, as you will have close contact with colleagues and other professionals within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse with experience in the profession. You are confident in your role, have the ability to make well-founded decisions, and can adapt to the situations that arise, always with the patient's best interest in focus. Experience in home healthcare is an advantage. As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and communicative, with a genuine commitment to providing high-quality care.

A valid driver's license is required for the position, and you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
