Fårösund School is a K-9 school that is part of the Northern Gotland school area along with Solklint School K-9, Lärbro K-6, and Fole K-6.

Fårösund School is now looking for a qualified teacher who is interested in a position that can develop over time in line with the life you want to live. The area is led by a principal and two assistant principals.

At all schools in the area, we work together to ensure that our students receive a good education where collaboration between different student groups is a way to increase well-being and safety at school. The small school format contributes to engaged employees and colleagues who collaboratively drive school development at all levels. With us, you will find curious students, knowledgeable, generous, and happy colleagues, as well as proud and brave principals who have a clear goal for the northern school area. Your tasks

Teaching and shared class leadership in our school's 1-2 class. You will belong to a teaching team that works around our students in both subject and work teams. To support the difficult questions, there is an experienced and well-equipped student health team.

Who are you?

You have a teaching license or are awaiting your license.

You are a confident person who can lead yourself in a group of like-minded colleagues and exploring children. You understand that teaching starts with clear planning. It is important that you want to develop together with other educators to ensure that our students progress as far as possible in their knowledge development. You are a clear educator who wants to work in a social context where development occurs together. You have good digital competence and confidence both for teaching and for communicating with guardians and colleagues.

About the Education and Labor Administration

As part of Region Gotland, we contribute in the Education and Labor Administration to the learning and development of children, youth, and adults. We are responsible for, among other things, preschools, primary schools, after-school care, adapted primary and secondary schools, cultural schools, high school and adult education, labor market initiatives, youth centers, and the reception and establishment of newcomers. Together we provide opportunities for lifelong learning.
