Solklintskolan is a K-9 school that is part of the Northern Gotland school area, together with Fårösund K-9, Lärbro K-6, and Fole K-6.

Solklintskolan is looking for a qualified teacher who is eager for a position that can develop over time in line with the life you want to live. The area is led by a principal and two vice principals.

At all schools in the area, we work together to ensure that our students receive a good education where collaboration between different student groups is a way to increase well-being and safety at school. The small school format contributes to our engaged employees and colleagues who, in dialogue, drive work for school development at all levels. Your Responsibilities

Mentorship and teaching in grades 7-9. You will belong to a teaching team that works around our students in both subject and work teams. To support with difficult questions, there is an experienced and well-equipped student health team.

Who Are You?

You have a teaching license or are awaiting your license. You are a secure person who can lead yourself in a group of like-minded colleagues and exploring children. You understand that teaching starts with clear planning. The important thing is that you want to develop together with other educators to ensure that our students progress as far as possible in their knowledge development. You are a clear educator who wants to operate in a social context where everyone develops together. You have good digital competence and confidence both for teaching and for communicating with guardians and colleagues.

About the Education and Labor Administration

As part of Region Gotland, we contribute in the Education and Labor Administration to the learning and development of children, youth, and adults. We are responsible for, among other things, preschools, primary schools, after-school care, adapted primary and secondary schools, culture schools, high school and adult education, labor market initiatives, youth centers, and the reception and establishment of newcomers. Together, we provide opportunities for lifelong learning.
