Are you our new primary school teacher at Guteskolan?

For the autumn term of 2026, we are looking for a primary school teacher for grades 1-3 at 100% for Guteskolan's elementary school activities.

As a primary school teacher, you will teach grades 1-3 in elementary school.

The role includes teaching primary school students based on various governing documents, such as the curriculum and subject plans. You will plan, implement, and evaluate your teaching, and through security and trust, create a good school environment for the students.

The position includes mentorship where you are responsible for supporting students during their studies, holding development talks, and maintaining contact with guardians.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree and a valid teaching license for grades 1-3 in elementary school.

As a person, we seek someone who is flexible and has an easy time collaborating. You are good at communicating and can inspire both students and colleagues. We want you to enjoy working both independently and in teams.

To succeed in this role, you need to enjoy working with young people and be engaged in their school experience and education. We see that you have a good ability to meet each student based on different conditions and needs. You need to be structured and clear while also being attentive.

Much of the work is done together with colleagues, so collaboration and experience exchange will be an important part of the daily job.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

About Guteskolan

Guteskolan is an independent elementary school within Guteskolan AB. We started in 2007. Guteskolan AB currently has approximately 350 students in elementary school, 250 students at the high school level, and 130 children in preschool.

Any profits made by Guteskolan AB are fully reinvested in the operations.

The atmosphere and mood at the school are relaxed and pleasant, which is one of the reasons why the relationship between teachers and students is so good.

Guteskolan's elementary school has a focus on movement and health and places extra emphasis on reading at all stages. All students are offered breakfast and have extra movement every day. Scheduling is done in blocks, which means longer lesson periods in each subject.

A probationary period of 6 months applies.
