The Folk High School is represented in Hemse and Fårösund. The Folk High School works to develop people and their skills and knowledge, where education is an important part of the mission. Gotland Folk High School in Hemse offers courses in general studies, general studies Enter, music, photography, textiles, and various short courses and summer courses. The school has its own restaurant and boarding accommodation.

Your Responsibilities
You will teach in the general course and general course Enter based on folk high school pedagogy in several subjects at both basic and upper secondary levels.
You will teach participants with diagnoses within the NPF spectrum, and lessons will partly be thematic in collaboration with other teachers.
You will continuously document completed activities.
Who Are You?
We are looking for a folk high school teacher with broad subject knowledge, specifically in Swedish, English, and mathematics. The ability to teach in multiple subjects is an advantage. It is also an advantage if you have a folk high school teacher education.
Since the teaching will partly be thematic, it is important that you have experience or a strong interest in thematic teaching.
You have current experience in specially adapted teaching and an interest in working with young adults with NPF. You work with a low-arousal approach with a strong emphasis on the salutogenic.
To succeed in the role, it is important to act professionally and patiently in various situations. You should be able to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues to create a structured and active environment for participants. You should have a flexible and solution-focused working method and be accustomed to collaborating and working in an environment that requires a high degree of initiative. The work requires your ability to plan and prioritize your tasks.
About the Education and Labor Administration
As part of Region Gotland, we contribute in the Education and Labor Administration to the learning and development of children, youth, and adults. We are responsible for preschool, primary school, after-school care, adapted primary and upper secondary school, cultural school, upper secondary and adult education, labor market initiatives, youth centers, and the reception and establishment of newcomers. Together, we provide opportunities for lifelong learning.
