At Region Norrbotten's assistive technology service, we work long-term to provide healthcare with the right and safe equipment. There is close collaboration with various departments within the organization to deliver high-quality solutions and medical technology products in the best possible way. We are tasked with creating the best health and care for the future, which places high demands and expectations on us every day, around the clock.
We are now looking for someone with a high school diploma in vehicle technology, electrical engineering, or industry. You should have a B driver's license and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Experience working with work order systems and in service, maintenance, and repairs is considered an advantage.
We place great importance on personal qualities; to thrive in this role, you should be self-driven, have good collaboration skills, and be able to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively while setting and adhering to deadlines. Furthermore, we appreciate if you are an initiator who can start activities and achieve results. You should be able to handle complex issues, analyze, and solve complicated problems.
As an assistive technology technician, your main responsibilities will be to ensure service, maintenance, and repairs of the wide range of assistive devices in our assortment. Much of the work takes place in the patient's home environment as well as in the organization's premises.
The assistive technology service is tasked with providing a good and efficient supply of assistive devices, ensuring that patients have equal access to functional and adequate assistive devices throughout the county. Collaboration on assistive technology issues should also provide an efficient supply of high-quality assistive devices.

We offer a permanent full-time position. Working hours are during the day, and the start date is according to agreement. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
