About the job

As a care supervisor, you have a central role in the organization. You guide and support the staff in their daily work and provide practical guidance in the work around our residences, ensuring that the work is carried out according to applicable guidelines and contributing to the development of both employees and the organization. You work proactively in the organization and provide support as both competence and experience vary. The work is done in close collaboration with the manager and other professional roles.

You will also work to some extent with daily care to gain a better insight into the different steps throughout the day and how these can be planned for higher quality and reduced stress. You are responsible for daily planning through Epsilon, which is our planning tool for daily interventions.

To ensure that the organization meets the requirements from various authorities (basic hygiene routines, social documentation, food hygiene, etc.) and maintains good quality, it is also part of the assignment to assist in performing self-checks in the organization at the request of unit managers and ensure that the knowledge of the above reaches the staff.

Johannas Trädgård is an elderly home in Täby Kyrkby with both somatic and dementia orientation. At the residence, we work in teams with nurses, care staff, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and activity coordinators. Our elderly homes offer a safe and dignified living environment with professional care and warm support.

Who are you?

• Are a nursing assistant
• Have experience working in care and support in SÄBO.
• Are well grounded in the salutogenic approach to person-centered care and the national value base of elderly care.
• Have good collaboration skills.
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
• Have good computer skills (e.g., Office/documentation systems).
• Have the ability to adapt communication according to the recipient.
• Can supervise both groups and individuals.
• Have good planning and organizational skills.

Meritorious:

• Experience in supervision or leadership roles is an advantage
• Experience working with the Epsilon planning tool
• Good fortune
