Care Assistant! Welcome to our wonderful team!
We need to strengthen our team during the summer and are therefore looking for new colleagues for our home healthcare.

Our home healthcare team consists of twelve employees, five nurses, and seven care assistants. Here, we work in teams around the patients together with nurses and doctors. As a care assistant with us, you will be part of a team that contributes to a good working environment and continuity for both you and our patients. We work from a holistic perspective on the individual, focusing on creating security for the patient and their relatives through high availability, participation, and continuity.
Job Responsibilities:
Standard tasks as a care assistant within home healthcare. Primarily medication administration, blood sampling, stoma care, wound dressings, and catheter management.
Employment Type:
We work weekdays without weekends between 07:30 AM and 04:30 PM. Start date by agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously. Hourly employment.
Qualifications:
- Care assistant education corresponding to the formal competence requirements effective from July 1, 2023. Experience in home healthcare or home care is preferred.
- Experience in blood sampling
- A valid driver's license (B) is required.
Personal Qualities:
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team and feels confident in their role as a care assistant. You need to be flexible and appreciate working with quick patient interactions. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

For patient-related work within the Stockholm County healthcare area:
- background checks will be applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
- in addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
