We are now looking for a full-time occupational therapist with experience for our facility Enebacken in Åkersberga.

Enebacken is seeking an occupational therapist to support rehabilitation in a homely environment with a focus on elderly care, culture, and music. You will make a difference in your role as an occupational therapist with flexible tasks in a warm and inspiring environment. Enebacken is a nursing home with 108 apartments divided into cozy units. You will be part of a multimodal team with a manager, unit managers, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and a life inspiration leader focusing on culture and music. Enebacken is located close to nature with residential areas, fields, and forests, perfect for walks and fresh air, with good transport links and free parking. The units have shared kitchens and lounges where residents with dementia, significant care needs, or short-term placements receive person-centered care around the clock.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of occupational therapist, you will have your own responsibility to perform occupational therapy-based interventions within elderly care. Your work focuses on supporting the elderly individual in both physical and cognitive challenges. You will work both independently and in a team, performing functional and activity assessments as well as leading training activities. Additionally, it includes trial-adapting and prescribing assistive devices and instructing, delegating, and guiding care staff. You will also collaborate closely with other professionals such as physiotherapists, nurses, and occupational therapists. Furthermore, it includes reporting on the individual’s activity ability at care planning meetings.

We are currently looking for a full-time colleague (100%) for a permanent position with a probationary period, starting immediately or as soon as possible.

  • Licensed occupational therapist

  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing
