Our Operations

The Department of Geriatrics, Rehabilitation Medicine, and Pain Center is characterized by well-functioning interprofessional teams, something we are very proud of. Our department has a broad mandate where it is meaningful, exciting, and developing to work. There are good opportunities to participate in development work and research, as we implement new knowledge into care.

You will primarily be based in the stroke unit 85B. Several physiotherapists work in the department, enabling collegial exchange and support. The foundation of the working method is teamwork based on a holistic view of the patient. Together, the team works to provide patients with professional care and rehabilitation.

Your Mission

Your tasks will mainly involve assessing functional ability where there is suspicion of stroke/TIA. Based on your and the team's assessments, further planning for the patient will take place. Fitting/prescribing aids, early rehabilitation interventions, and respiratory care will also be part of your duties.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist. We consider it an advantage if you have clinical experience in neurology/stroke care and experience in teamwork. It is also advantageous if you have experience mentoring students.

The work involves close contact with patients and staff, which requires good communication skills, flexibility, well-developed collaboration skills, and organizational ability. We would like you to have the ability to prioritize and create structure among your various tasks.
