The Getingen Health Center is a small and family-oriented health care unit with about 20 employees, located within the hospital area. We are one of Lund's youngest health centers, having started operations in May 2014 without listed patients. Since then, our listing has grown to approximately 6,000 patients today. Our operations are characterized by high medical quality, job satisfaction, and a strong team spirit. The facilities are located on the Skåne University Hospital area, which provides several unique services such as pneumatic mail, logistics, and laundry management. These facilities are also shared with the Evening and Weekend Reception when the health center is closed, contributing to a good and close collaboration with the staff in this operation.

The Getingen Health Center is the first in Lund to work based on a new basic offering in collaboration with common functions at other health care units. This advantage gives us a unique opportunity to help shape the future of primary care, from structures and routines to working methods and functions. The health center provides good and safe care for our listed patients with the help of specialists in general medicine, ST doctors, district nurses, registered nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, medical secretaries, and nursing assistants. The operation also runs a nurse-led diabetes clinic, asthma-COPD clinic, and elderly care clinic. We also collaborate with other primary care units regarding dieticians and occupational therapists to offer patients individualized care at the right level.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a confident nursing assistant with an interest in improvement work who wants to be part of our unique journey forward.

In the role of nursing assistant with us, you will perform common tasks as a nursing assistant at the health center, such as venous blood sampling, cultures, EKG, and assisting doctors during examinations and minor surgeries. You will be responsible for blood pressure clinics and 24-hour blood pressure monitoring. Your tasks also include restocking and maintaining order in the examination rooms.

As a nursing assistant at the Getingen Health Center, you should work well both in a team and independently. For us, it is a given that you as a nursing assistant at the Getingen Health Center provide a really good patient experience and assist other healthcare staff in their daily work.

If you have experience from other work that is also performed within primary care, we are open to discussing solutions where your skills can be utilized.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a trained nursing assistant and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you have studied according to previous or current program structures. If you have studied according to previous program structures, it is an advantage to have a focus on emergency care/healthcare. You have a few years of experience working as a nursing assistant, preferably from primary care. It is also a requirement to have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Furthermore, experience with the PMO journal system is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who wants to help develop the operation together with colleagues and the immediate manager. You have good collaboration skills, are flexible, and have a positive attitude with a good sense of service. You need to be confident in your professional role and have the ability to work independently. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
