Capio Ortho Center Gothenburg is looking for a specialist in orthopedics with a focus on arthroscopic surgery for a permanent position, full-time or part-time. You will work at our state-of-the-art outpatient surgical clinic in Gothenburg. 

About us

Capio Ortho Center Gothenburg is part of Capio Orthopedics, a network of 13 specialist clinics. We are one of Gothenburg's largest units for elective orthopedics and offer highly specialized care in outpatient surgery and inpatient care in modern facilities near Sahlgrenska Hospital. Approximately 100 employees collaborate in interdisciplinary teams. Patients come through care guarantees or insurance companies, and we prioritize continuity, medical quality, and short lead times.

About the position

With us, you will work with the investigation and treatment of patients with joint diseases and injuries, with a particular focus on arthroscopic procedures in the knee, shoulder, hip, or foot depending on your expertise. You will be involved in the entire care process, from reception and assessment to surgery and follow-up, in close collaboration with other professional groups. Mentoring colleagues and developing work methods are also included.

Qualifications and qualities we are looking for

• Licensed physician with specialist competence in orthopedics

• At least three years of documented experience in arthroscopic surgery

• Confident and independent in the role of operator

• Good communication skills and collaborative

• Engaged and humble in interactions with colleagues and patients

• Interest in developing and broadening your skills and learning new techniques

• Experience in clinical supervision and specialized arthroscopic surgery in multiple areas is an advantage
