The Department of Health and Care is responsible for elderly care in Stenungsund municipality. The municipal primary care provided is regulated by law and primarily governed by the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL). RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities consist of standard tasks within physiotherapy as well as assistive device assessments aimed at extending the period of an active and independent life through training for the care recipient. You will work closely with occupational therapists, nurses, and care staff, and the role includes guidance for the care recipient, care staff, and relatives in a rehabilitative approach.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must be a licensed physiotherapist and able to meet and coordinate the patient's overall rehabilitation needs.

Since the position involves contact with many people daily, high social competence is required, along with a service-oriented attitude and a good approach. It is important that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have computer skills.

You enjoy working flexibly and independently and can take your own initiatives while seeing teamwork as an important part of the job. Being able to independently organize and prioritize your work is fundamental to making the right interventions at the right time. It is important that you have a genuine interest in working with care recipients in need of rehabilitation within municipal health and medical care.

A driving license (B) is required as we often travel by car.

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record and a valid license as a physiotherapist must be presented.
