About the Job
We are looking for someone who wants to work in rehabilitation in an academic environment where education and research are the focus alongside quality small animal healthcare.
The position is full-time.
Your Background
You are a licensed physiotherapist, licensed veterinary nurse, or animal caregiver level 2-3 with further education in veterinary rehabilitation or have another academic background that we consider relevant for the job. You have experience in the rehabilitation of dogs and cats at animal hospitals or clinics. Teaching experience is an advantage.
As a person, you are structured and have a great ability to collaborate with others. You take significant and independent responsibility for your tasks but have the judgment to ask for help when you need it.
At the University Animal Hospital, we are customer-focused and care about a professional approach where we value good relationships. You are communicative with a good ability to create and maintain good relationships with students, clients, and colleagues. You have great integrity and are professional, serving as a role model in the clinical environment. You are interested in teaching and participating in creating good conditions for education and research.
Since the position involves daily contact with pet owners, students, and colleagues, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form. As an employee at the University Animal Hospital, you have a scientific approach and work evidence-based.

About Us
The Department of Clinical Sciences is responsible for undergraduate education, research, and doctoral education in anesthesiology, imaging diagnostics, animal care, epidemiology, laboratory animal science, surgery, clinical chemistry, internal medicine, and reproduction. Our activities span all animal species across all subjects.
At SLU University Animal Hospital (UDS), education, research, and advanced veterinary care go hand in hand. We train tomorrow's veterinarians and veterinary nurses and provide first-class care for companion animals, competition animals, and production animals. We also disseminate knowledge to the public. By combining established knowledge with the latest research results, we develop the future of veterinary care.
Under one roof, we offer healthcare for horses, dogs, cats, and other small animals. In addition to modern, purpose-built facilities, we have access to advanced imaging diagnostics and a veterinary specialist laboratory. UDS also includes an ambulatory unit that travels to stables and farms to examine and treat horses and livestock.
