Gråberget's short-term unit offers municipal care and support for a shorter period to individuals who, for various reasons, cannot live at home.

This may include individuals who have been hospitalized and need rehabilitation before they can move back home. It may also include individuals who cannot remain at home and need special care and support for a time before they move to a care and nursing home.

In your work at the short-term unit, you will make a difference by contributing to the joy and well-being of short-term guests. You will have the opportunity to develop and utilize your full competence as a nursing assistant. The interventions are regularly followed up in team meetings and in collaboration during planning meetings together with the short-term guest, relatives, social workers, and other professionals. Some tasks are performed at the request of licensed personnel. The goal is for the short-term guest to return to an independent life.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, can show the Socialstyrelsen certificate for protected professional title, or can demonstrate that you were employed as a nursing assistant at the introduction of the new regulations.

Further education in care and support is an advantage. We prefer that you have previous experience in care and support work, especially in short-term care or home care. The job requires computer skills for documentation in IT systems and good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with others. You have good knowledge and understanding of the working method Individual's Needs in Focus (IBIC).

In your role, you will meet many people, which requires you to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals. You are respectful, open, and positive in your interactions with others, and you always keep the guests' best interests in focus. The workday may sometimes turn out differently than planned since you work with people, so you maintain calm, balance different demands, and prioritize your tasks accordingly.
