Role as a Nursing Assistant, Extra Shifts

Your task is to monitor critically ill patients who need support. The patients mainly come from the intensive care unit, many of whom have a tracheostomy. You are responsible for the care of the patient, including personal hygiene, washing, turning, oral care, working to prevent pressure sores, respiratory exercises, and mobilizing the patient. You will report changes in the patient's condition to the responsible nurse. The monitoring assignment includes checks according to basic parameters.

Your Future Workplace

The summer position is estimated to be between weeks 25-32 this year, and we hope you can work as many weeks as possible. Placement will be based on the departments that will have needs below:

• Infectious Diseases Clinic
• Medicine Clinic
• Surgery Clinic
• Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic

Your Profile

• Trained nursing assistant/caregiver or if you are currently studying to become a nurse or doctor. If studying, you must have completed the third semester, but individual assessment may be possible.
• Previous experience working with extra shifts is seen as a positive.

We are looking for someone who enjoys rotating between different departments and thereby gains valuable work experience in healthcare. We need extra shifts both day and night. As a person, you are calm and secure in your professional role and have the ability to work independently. It means a lot to us that you have a positive attitude towards your tasks and a good demeanor. Together, we create high patient safety and good accessibility with the patient in focus. We emphasize personal suitability.
