The role of nursing assistant/care assistant/care worker

Your future workplace

The Medicine and Geriatrics Clinic at Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö is a developing operation where we care for patients in need of specialized medical and geriatric care. The Medicine and Geriatrics Clinic is a workplace with great opportunities for engaging work, where you as an employee develop and can choose different directions within the same clinic. Our clinic has four inpatient units distributed across different specialties.

• Unit C: Pulmonology, Gastroenterology
• Unit D: Cardiology
• Unit E: Nephrology, Endocrinology, Hematology
• Unit G: Neurology, Stroke, Geriatrics

Your profile

Trained nursing assistant, caregiver, or studying to become a nurse or doctor. We prefer that you have completed the third semester, but individual assessment can be made earlier.

Please make sure to include any internships and work experience in your application. It is important that you also attach your diploma. If you have not yet completed your studies, attach a LADOK extract or other certificate showing completed courses.

Since the nursing assistant title has been protected as of July 1, 2023, you who are a trained nursing assistant will need to indicate in your application if you have applied for the protected title. If you currently have a permanent position as a nursing assistant and have not applied for the protected title, we ask you to attach a certificate of your permanent position in your application to continue holding the title of nursing assistant.
