The role of nursing assistant/care assistant/care aide

The Medicine and Geriatrics Clinic at Högland Hospital in Eksjö is a developing organization where we care for patients in need of specialized medical and geriatric care. Our clinic has four inpatient units distributed across different specialties.

• Unit C: Pulmonology, Gastroenterology
• Unit D: Cardiology
• Unit E: Nephrology, Endocrinology, Hematology
• Unit G: Neurology, Stroke, Geriatrics

Your profile

Trained nursing assistant, caregiver, or studying to become a nurse or doctor. We prefer that you have completed your third semester, but individual assessment can be made earlier.

Please make sure to specify any internships and work experience in your application. It is important that you also attach your diploma. If you are not yet finished with your studies, please attach a LADOK extract or other certificate showing completed courses.

Since nursing assistant is a protected professional title as of July 1, 2023, you who are a trained nursing assistant will need to indicate in your application whether you have applied for a protected professional title. If you currently have a permanent position as a nursing assistant and have not applied for a protected professional title, we ask you to attach a certificate of your permanent employment in your application to continue to retain the title of nursing assistant.
