Do you have a burning interest in fresh produce and enjoy leading and motivating others? Then you might be the right person for us.
We are looking for a positive and energetic person who is ready to lead a sales-driven team at Coop Munkebäckstorget. You will be heading towards an exciting future, so we hope you are innovative and creative in your way of working, with the drive to create sales pressure and inspire customers to enjoy their shopping experience.
In your role, besides creating an inspiring store full of food joy, you will focus on making your department efficient, inspiring, and profitable with first-class customer service. You have a positive attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment with varied tasks. When problems arise, you tend to focus on solutions rather than the problems, always keeping the customer's best interest in mind. You will actively participate in the store's daily tasks and have ongoing responsibility for operations, staffing, and change management.
We place great importance on your leadership, as leading and developing your employees is a significant part of your daily routine. To succeed in this, you need to communicate easily, be clear in your leadership, and have a coaching and supportive approach. The role includes both financial responsibility and responsibility for staff. Furthermore, the position will include:
- Creating extraordinary food joy in the store
- Being a role model and leading by example in accordance with Coop's values
- Being responsible for ongoing personnel work within your area of responsibility, such as task distribution, skills development, onboarding of new employees, following procedures, information, and regulations
- Analyzing key figures/statistics and suggesting, prioritizing, and taking action
- Actively working with waste management
- Leading sales efforts within your area of responsibility and for the overall store when the store manager is not present
- Ensuring daily operations
As a Fresh Produce Sales Manager, you will be part of the store's management team, working strategically for the store's continuous development. Your role requires you to be goal- and results-oriented with a pronounced sense of order and documented experience in a leadership position within retail or grocery trade, preferably in fresh produce.
The position is a permanent full-time employment (38.25 hours/week) with a start date of January 19, 2026, or as agreed. Working hours vary and include both day and evening shifts as well as weekends. Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. We apply a probationary period.
If you want to know more about the position, please contact Store Manager David Lundin at email: [email protected]
