We are now looking for summer temporary workers for home care in Lycksele Municipality for the summer of 2026.

Being a summer temporary worker in Support, Care, and Welfare means that from June to August you will work as a substitute in our operations when regular staff are on vacation. There is an opportunity to start the summer job earlier and get trained already in the spring. If you then want to continue as a substitute in the fall, there are good opportunities for continued work.

In home care, we have a changing workplace where we are daily faced with new exciting challenges. As an employee in home care, you help our clients with service and personal care in their own homes. Our work is to make a difference, so that our clients' quality of life becomes as good as possible. Being the one who can make a difference for other people makes the work very enjoyable. The most important tools we have are our approach and our smile, so that our fellow humans feel seen and acknowledged. The work will be scheduled for day, evening, or night shifts.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone who is 18 years or older. We consider it an advantage if you have an education in care or a corresponding education that the employer assesses as equivalent, but the most important thing for us is that you have an interest and commitment to work with people and want to support them in their daily lives. For some home care areas, a B driver's license is required as you need to be able to travel by car.

As a person, you find it easy to listen, understand, and empathize with others and their needs. You will be in contact with many people daily, such as clients, relatives, and staff, which requires a good approach and good collaboration skills. Working with people means an exciting and changing everyday life, and therefore we believe that you can easily adapt and prioritize tasks according to current conditions. This year, we have also worked on salaries and conditions for our summer temporary workers, as you are important to us! This means that we will pay higher salaries than the central agreement during the summer months. We also try to assist with temporary housing if you have difficulty finding accommodation in Lycksele while you work with us.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT

Duration: Summer temporary position June – August.
Scope: 100% or as agreed.
Start: As agreed.
