Önnestadsgymnasiet is located between Kristianstad and Hässleholm with good commuting opportunities. The school offers agricultural education at the upper secondary level with a focus on farming, forestry, horse care, nature tourism, and animal care. In recent years, the school has experienced incredible growth, nearly doubling the number of students, making us one of Sweden's largest agricultural schools. This has enabled significant investments, and the operations have been thoroughly upgraded.

The operational area covers approximately 400 hectares of arable land, of which 70 hectares are KRAV-certified, 65 hectares of pasture, 150 hectares of forest, 65 dairy cows, 126 sows, and 35 KRAV-certified heifers.

Our owners, Hushållningssällskapet Skåne, is a membership organization with about 5,500 members. HS develops rural areas and the green industries. Research, consulting, education, field trials – all to live up to our promise of knowledge for the country's future.
