Do you want to get more out of your study time? Through a summer job at the Medicine and Geriatrics Clinic, you will gain valuable experience before you graduate as a nurse!

Working as a T5 student in the summer

You will work under the supervision of a trained nurse and hold personal delegation for certain nursing tasks such as preparation and administration of medications, sampling, handling of IVs and central lines, and documentation in Cosmic and LINK. This means you will practice several tasks that you will work with when you complete your nursing education.

You will maintain a holistic view of the patient's complex needs. You are responsible for care, observation, medication, and collaboration regarding patients with varying care needs. We want the patient to be involved in their care, which means that information is a very important part of your work. You will care for the patient in the best way based on individual needs and proven experience in medical care.

We work in teams with different professions, and together with other employees, you will work for good collaboration within the clinic.

You will work with varying nursing tasks and medical tasks, and you will have the opportunity to challenge and broaden your knowledge within your upcoming profession.

Our clinic has four inpatient units divided into different specialties.
Unit C: Pulmonology, Gastroenterology
Unit D: Cardiology
Unit E: Nephrology, Endocrinology, Hematology
Unit G: Neurology, Stroke, Geriatrics

You are studying to become a nurse and have completed term 5 before the summer (you will confirm this by attaching an excerpt from Ladok in your application).

To have the best possible summer planning, we view positively if you can work continuously for 6 weeks during the summer. Introduction will take place in addition to these weeks.
