Do you want to make the most of your study time? Through a summer job at the medicine and geriatrics clinic, you will gain valuable experience before you graduate as a nurse!

Working as a T5 student in the summer

You will work under the supervision of a qualified nurse and hold personal delegation for certain nursing tasks such as preparation and administration of medications, sampling, handling of IV and CV catheters, and documentation in Cosmic and LINK. This means you will practice multiple tasks that you will be working with once you complete your nursing education.

You will work to maintain a holistic view of the patient's complex needs. You will be responsible for care, observation, medication, and collaboration regarding patients with varying care needs. We want the patient to be involved in their care, which means that information is a very important part of your work. You will take care of the patient in the best way based on the individual's needs and evidence-based experience in medical care.

We work in teams with different professions, and together with other colleagues, you will work towards good collaboration within the clinic.

You will work with various nursing and medical tasks and have the opportunity to challenge and broaden your knowledge within your future profession.

• Unit C: Pulmonology, Gastroenterology
• Unit D: Cardiology
• Unit E: Nephrology, Endocrinology, Hematology
• Unit G: Neurology, Stroke, Geriatrics

You are studying to become a nurse and have completed semester 5 before the summer (this is confirmed by attaching an extract from Ladok in your application).

To ensure the best summer planning possible, we view positively if you can work continuously for 6 weeks during the summer. Introduction will occur in addition to these weeks.
