Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, Vårdcentrum Finspång, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centers evenings and weekends, and the General Medicine Training Center. Job Description

We offer you who want to become a specialist in general medicine a challenging and varied job and an organized and good ST training at a small well-functioning health center. As an ST physician with us, you will receive regular supervision, and in addition to participating in ST meetings, the health center also has internal training that we take turns holding.

The Kolmården Health Center is centrally located in beautiful Krokek outside Norrköping near the E4. You can easily get here by car, bus, or train from Norrköping, Nyköping, and Katrineholm.

Work Group

With us, collaboration and a good atmosphere in the staff group is a guiding star. We have both rural and urban areas in our region and are currently staffed with four specialists in general medicine, 2 ST physicians, AT physicians, junior doctors, district nurses, nurses, and nursing assistants, in addition to administrative staff, two CBT therapists, and a rehabilitation coordinator employed to support the operation. We also have a child health clinic, are responsible for a nursing home with 40 places, and provide medical supervision in municipal home care. In the building, there are also physiotherapists and occupational therapists with whom we have a good collaboration to provide our residents with the best possible care.

About You

You are a licensed physician and hold a medical license issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare, or you are at the end of your AT training. You have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least documented level C1, as you should be able to communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues fluently. Experience of working in primary care is an advantage.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You have good judgment and communicate clearly. We want you to be unpretentious and enjoy working in a team. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
