The Role of the Nurse

As a nurse, you have a holistic view of the patient's complex needs. You are responsible for care, observation, medication, and collaboration regarding patients with various infection diagnoses and varying care needs. We want the patient to be involved in their care. This means that information is a very important part of your work. You take care of the patient in the best way based on individual needs and proven experience in medical care. We work in teams with different professions, and together with other employees, you work for good collaboration within the clinic. As a nurse, you lead and distribute the work in the team. Our patients are sometimes very seriously ill, for example, with sepsis, and require extensive urgent measures from you and your colleagues.

Your Future Workplace

The infection clinic is based in Jönköping and is the county's knowledge center for infectious diseases. The clinic consists of a care unit with 27 beds, a specialist outpatient clinic, and an extensive consulting and advisory service conducted in Eksjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo. The clinic is characterized by motivated employees who work in a team-based manner and jointly strive for a good collaborative climate. The cohesion is strong, and we highly value collaboration skills and interest in development. The clinic is characterized by a lack of pretentiousness and a close and warm collaboration between the clinic's various professions. Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and who want to become one of us at the infection clinic, County Hospital Ryhov in Jönköping. A couple of years of experience in ward work is an advantage. If you have experience working in the Cosmic journal system, we see it as positive.
