About the Position

Ikett Personalpartner is looking for a machine welder for Siemens Energy in Trollhättan for a long-term need - with the goal of becoming employed by Siemens Energy.

Job Description:

As a machine welder, you will prepare materials, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring that incoming materials meet the required quality. You will set up, monitor, and operate semi-automatic welding machines and perform plasma and TIG welding according to drawings and welding procedures (WPS). The role includes daily maintenance of welding machines, measurement checks, and welding quality control according to applicable quality requirements, as well as documentation of completed work and any deviations. You will also participate in improvement work, production meetings, and quality reviews to contribute to an efficient and quality-assured production.

About You:

We are looking for someone with a background in welding or equivalent and who thrives in an environment where safety, quality, and precision are in focus. You are meticulous, responsible, and structured, with a good ability to collaborate and communicate.

Requirements:

• Industrial program or equivalent welding education.
• Knowledge of TIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and welding symbols.
• Understanding of material properties and basic knowledge of welding parameters, fixturing, and clamping.

Meritorious:

• Experience with plasma and/or MIG/MAG welding.
• Forklift & overhead crane license.
• Familiarity with LEAN/5S or similar production systems.
• Previous experience in machine welding or machine operation.

Desired start date: Beginning of February, or by agreement.
Working hours: Daytime during the training period, then 2-shift.
