We at Anderstorps Mekaniska Verkstad AB (AMV) are now looking for a press brake operator to join our team for the upcoming year. We are looking for someone with experience in press brakes, preferably with previous setup experience – especially in SafanDarley and/or Amada. If you also have a forklift license, that is a big plus.

     Focusing on sheet metal processing, we offer complete solutions from design to finished product. We work closely together, help each other, and take joint responsibility for maintaining high quality and good delivery precision.

About the role

As a press brake operator at AMV, you will work both with setting up and operating the press brake and contribute where the need is greatest. When the workload on the press brake is lower, you are expected to step in and support other departments in production. This makes the role varied and suitable for you who enjoy being part of the whole.

     You will work from drawings and production documents, ensuring that the details meet the correct dimensions and quality. Experience with Monitor (business system) is an advantage.

Your tasks

·         Set up and operate the press brake according to drawings and production orders.

·         Machine monitoring, measuring, and quality control of details.

·         Support other departments in production as needed.

·         Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues to keep the flow going.

·         Contribute to order, safety, and a positive team spirit.

We are looking for someone who

·         Has experience with press brakes, preferably also with setup.

·         Has worked with SafanDarley and/or Amada.

·         Has good experience in reading drawings and quality control.

·         Is flexible and enjoys a role where they help out where needed.

·         Is solution-oriented, responsible, and likes to collaborate.

·         Master Swedish in speech and writing.

Meritorious

• Forklift license and experience.
• Experience with the Monitor business system.
