JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the Safety Team, you will handle the municipality's safety alarms. During the day, you will work solely with alarm management, while at night you will combine alarm management with regular visits to the municipality's users. During the summer, you will play an important role in creating safety and providing support when it is needed most by users. The work is based on a rehabilitative approach where each person's resources and vitality are highlighted, and where everyone is met with respect and dignity.

You will work with an engaged team of experienced colleagues in care and support, where we collaborate closely to create a safe working environment. The Safety Team is part of the Home Care's operational area, which means close cooperation with several professionals such as nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, focusing on the user's best interests. You will also collaborate with other units within the Social Services in Falkenberg Municipality.

Your work will involve:

• Responding to safety alarms from the municipality's users.
• Providing care and support in users' homes, including delegated tasks.
• Assisting with falls, suspected illness, supervision, personal hygiene, and transfers.
• Handling incoming alarms and assessing the need for action.
• Working in the operational system Intraphone, where everything from planning to completed visits and documentation is managed.

The Safety Team is organized into teams for day/evening or night shifts. The unit is based in offices at Turbingränd and Solhaga. The role's working hours are scheduled for both weekdays and weekends.

You also have the opportunity to express interest in weekend work! This means you will receive a schedule where you primarily work weekends. In return, you will receive a higher salary (OB compensation) and more time off during the week. Perfect for those who want to combine work with studies, leisure, or other commitments.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to our users' health and living conditions in a calm and methodical way, even in acute situations. You are flexible, responsible, and enjoy varied tasks. You find it easy to collaborate, are positive, and can adapt to unexpected situations. Attention to detail is important, especially in medication management. You are proactive and attentive to the user's needs and have a natural respect for your fellow human beings.

You need to have:

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• You need to be able to handle the IT systems necessary for the position, which requires computer skills.
• A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.
• It is an advantage if you have education and/or experience in care and support.
• Personal suitability is highly valued.
• You need to be 18 years or older. The age limit is set due to specific regulations according to the Work Environment Act. Regulations regarding minors' work environment are governed by AFS 2012:3.
