BI Developer within HR Shared Service Center

As a BI Developer within the HR Shared Service Center (HR SSC), you will play a key role in developing and future-proofing our solutions for People Analytics.

The foundations are set, but much remains to be done – here you have the chance to influence and create the next generation of BI support for HR and the entire PostNord. With recently upgraded HR systems and a modern analytics platform, you have a unique opportunity to develop BI solutions that elevate HR capabilities to new levels. You will be part of an engaged team of about 50 people in Umeå and Gothenburg, who together support over 17,000 employees and managers.

What you will do

Develop our capabilities within People Analytics by:

• Being responsible for developing and implementing BI solutions that support the HR function's and other business units' needs for HR data
• Together with our HR analyst, you will contribute significantly to developing solutions that make HR data and insights accessible within PostNord
• Exploring and implementing AI applications within BI and analytics to create the future's analytical support

Business-Centric BI Development:

• Maintaining, improving, and developing new semantic models and reports in close consultation with HR specialists, IT, HR analysts, and the business
• Developing advanced data models and user-friendly visualizations in Power BI to deliver insightful reports and analyses that enable data-driven decisions within the HR area
• Streamlining data flows and defining requirements for integrations from new data sources and data models to colleagues in IT

What you bring with you

We would like you to have experience in a similar role within analytics and several years of experience in BI development in Power BI, including:

• Good understanding of ETL processes, integrations, and requirements definition for data warehouses
• Knowledge of optimizing the performance of Power BI solutions, including data modeling, report design, and DAX calculations
• Interest or experience in AI applications within BI and analytics, e.g., predictive analytics, automation, or generative AI
• Experience with SQL
• Familiarity with working on business-centric development to support business strategy and decision-making
• Having worked within or towards the HR area is an advantage
• Relevant university education in BI, computer science, systems development, or equivalent
• Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
