The most important work of the summer - become a summer substitute

Help create a meaningful existence for our elderly. You are a person who enjoys working with people, you are stable, loyal, and have good collaboration skills.

We offer our summer substitutes an introduction to the operations so that you feel secure even if you have not previously worked with similar tasks. In elderly care, operations are ongoing around the clock, which means you may work during the day, evening, weekend, and/or night.

Job Responsibilities

Care and Support Home

In our care and support homes, we work to provide care, support, social activation, and daily rehabilitation to our users. We work to ensure that users have a safe and meaningful existence.

A day at a care and support home consists of supporting and helping our users based on the assessed assistance they have. This may include personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, toilet visits, transfers, and walks. Delegated healthcare tasks, documentation, and contact with relatives are also part of the job.

Home Care

As a summer substitute in home care, you work with the user's needs at the center and support in various ways to facilitate daily life in the user's home. You work based on assessed assistance such as help with hygiene and clothing, heating and preparing food, and administering medication. Sometimes we also assist with service tasks such as laundry, shopping, and cleaning.

We handle a lot of technology in our work. On our mobile devices, we see our planning for all the day's tasks. There we can also read and document, unlock doors, and medication cabinets.

Qualifications

To thrive and do a good job, you need to have a genuine interest in people. You meet the elderly with respect and consider their individual needs and wishes.

Since the work is varied, you are self-assured, can adapt to different situations, and enjoy learning new things. It is important that you take responsibility for your tasks and dare to ask questions when needed.

• You must be at least 18 years old and proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• A valid driver's license (B) is required for home care.
• Experience in the care profession and/or training as a nursing assistant is an advantage.

To work as a substitute in care and support homes & home care, you must present a valid extract from the criminal record before employment. Conditions

Temporary employment with irregular working hours. Day, evening, weekend, and/or night work may occur. Interviews and hiring will be conducted continuously.
