We are looking for a System Technician IT OT

Gotlandshem Boendeservice AB is part of the Gotlandshem group and gathers operations that work with housing issues and social sustainability. The company is also responsible for the group's IT support, including infrastructure and system solutions.

About the job The IT infrastructure and system solutions department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the group's operational systems throughout their lifecycle. This means that we manage everything from implementation and management to further development and final decommissioning. Currently, we have six employees responsible for, among other things, information and cybersecurity, system management, IT administration, and IT and OT architecture.

Your tasks We are looking for an experienced system technician who has a deep understanding of both traditional IT networks and OT infrastructure (Operational Technology) within property environments. You will work on designing, implementing, and managing network solutions that support property automation, security systems, and IoT devices. You will also assist with support and administration of our M365 environment.

Your tasks include management responsibility for network infrastructure for property systems (OT) and ensuring integration between IT and OT networks with a focus on security and availability.

You will work with troubleshooting and support of network-related issues in property environments and our internal systems and also participate in projects for upgrading and modernizing property automation. It is also part of your tasks to document network solutions and follow applicable standards and regulations.

About you We place great importance on personal suitability. For us, this means, among other things, that you are an analytical and solution-oriented person who is communicative and service-minded. You have the ability to work both independently and in a team.

You likely have a high school education with a focus on electrical, computer, and communication technology, or a vocational education with a focus on network technology, IT infrastructure, or cybersecurity. You have experience in network design and administration (switches, routers, firewalls) and preferably knowledge of OT systems for properties, e.g., control and monitoring systems. If you also have experience with IoT and property automation as well as good knowledge of network security and segmentation, it is a plus.
