The habilitation clinic for children and youth serves children and adolescents up to 17 years old with permanent disabilities and their families. The children and adolescents may have movement disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and/or autism. The operation is based on interdisciplinary teamwork that is person-centered.

Hässleholm is a hub for train traffic within walking distance from the station to the clinic, but there are also buses.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer you an important and varied job where you will have the opportunity to work with children and adolescents in important developmental stages, in an environment with strong team anchoring and where a warm reception permeates the entire operation.

Your tasks will consist of assessing and treating children/adolescents with delayed and/or atypical motor development. You will participate in educational initiatives and provide information and guidance regarding motor training in daily activities, play, and sports to parents and networks. Interventions can be provided individually and/or in groups. Furthermore, you will assess the need for, prescribe, fit, and follow up on medical and orthopedic technical aids.

In your work, you will meet patients both in our facilities, in their homes, and at preschool/school, which involves travel in the service. In addition, you will participate in planning interventions together with the child, adolescent, and parents, as well as other important people in the network. A significant part of the work is to collaborate with other actors such as preschool/school, children's clinics, assistive technology services, orthopedic technology services, social services, and more.

- The work is very flexible. As a physiotherapist, I have the opportunity to work in different areas, but also to specialize in certain diagnoses. It is definitely an organization where I can develop, not least through guidance from experienced physiotherapist colleagues and introduction and support in my work, continues Alice.

Evening shifts occur one evening a week when we are open until 6:30 PM on Mondays. The position is a fixed-term employment for one year with the possibility of extension.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement for both roles, as well as a valid B driver's license since travel is required in the service. We consider it an advantage if you have experience working with children and youth and/or working with people with permanent disabilities. Experience with various IT systems and openness to digital healthcare contacts, e-health, and 1177 is also considered advantageous.
