Östra bygården/Bygården

Östra bygården/Bygården is the cozy nursing home in the village, focusing on meeting where residents and relatives feel welcome. We focus on rewarding activities, both general and individual, where the interests of the residents are taken into account.

Östra Bygården/Bygården is a workplace in Landvetter that houses two buildings, Bygården and Östra Bygården. Bygården has a total of 29 apartments with both somatic and cognitive impairment (dementia) focus. Östra Bygården has a total of 21 apartments with a focus on cognitive impairment (dementia). We believe that differences enrich us and enhance quality. We are now looking for someone who wants to help develop and improve our operations. You must be able to work in both cognitive impairment and somatic care as we collaborate with each other and have both focuses in our buildings. Please specify in your application if you prefer to work at Östra Bygården or Bygården.

Job Responsibilities

With us, there are nursing assistants, activity pedagogues, garden therapists, administrators, care supervisors, and responsible unit managers. Access to nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists is also available. Together, we are responsible for ensuring that residents and their relatives feel safe and satisfied with the care and support provided.

Your task with us is to provide our residents with safe and good care, support in daily life, and a stimulating leisure time. Your main tasks will include supporting residents with hygiene, social interaction and activities, cleaning, meal support, laundry, and much more. The work includes delegated tasks such as health and medical care interventions based on the residents' individual needs. We work with agency assignments, where you as an employee have opportunities to develop and be part of the development of the operations. Contact with relatives and responsibility for social documentation are included.

Your working hours will be during the day, evening, and weekends.

Härryda municipality is working to reduce the proportion of hourly employees and instead increase the basic staffing. The municipality therefore applies joint planning, which means that you will do some shifts at other units, but your main working hours will be performed at your home unit.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who sees opportunities instead of obstacles and who works with a salutogenic approach with high quality in care work. To succeed in this job, you should have very good collaboration skills but also the ability to work independently. You should work with quality awareness and have the ability to create trusting relationships. As a person, you are empathetic, flexible, and responsible with a genuine interest in working with people. The operations require that you take delegation and perform tasks according to HSL.

Competence Requirements

To be considered for this recruitment, you need to meet the following:

• Trained nursing assistant
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills, preferably with experience in social documentation

Meritorious

It is an advantage if you:

• Nursing assistant with specialist competence
• Experience working with quality issues and value-based work.
