We are looking for an engaged and experienced school counselor for a position within an adapted upper secondary school in Gävleborg County.
Assignment Information:
- Period: March 2, 2026 – June 12, 2026 (off during all school holidays)
- Scope: 100 %
- Workplace: Adapted upper secondary school
- Compensation: By agreement
Job Responsibilities:
As a school counselor, you will work health-promoting and preventive with a focus on students' mental well-being and social conditions. You are part of the school's student health team and collaborate with educators, guardians, and external actors. The work is tailored for students with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF).
Qualifications:
- Degree in Social Work
- Experience as a counselor, preferably within the school sector
- Good knowledge and experience working with the NPF target group
- Driver's license and access to a car
Personal Qualities:
You are stable and secure in your professional role and have a respectful and professional demeanor. You easily build trusting relationships, work in a structured manner, and are attentive. Collaboration with other professional groups is something you enjoy.
