About the role

As a Construction Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the project department in Kiruna. You will lead and develop employees, support project managers in their daily work, and also manage your own projects. The role is both strategic and operational and suits you who thrive close to the business, operations, and customers.

You will step into an established project operation with ongoing assignments and new projects, and play a central role in driving business and developing the organization forward. Here, you will work in an entrepreneurial-driven organization with short decision-making paths, where responsibility, commitment, and collaboration characterize everyday life.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the project department in Kiruna
• Personnel responsibility for project managers and other employees
• Operational support to project managers and responsibility for your own projects
• Cost estimation, follow-up, and management of projects
• Sales and work with new and existing customer relationships
• Responsibility for project economy and profitability
• Work environment responsibility according to applicable laws and guidelines
• Development and management of project processes

Your profile

We are looking for a confident, business-minded, and structured leader. You are used to taking responsibility, making decisions, and delivering even in a fast-paced environment.

We see that you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in the mining industry or a similar environment
• Good understanding of corporate and project economics
• Experience in cost estimation and sales
• Experience in personnel responsibility and leadership
• Good collaboration skills and a clear, unpretentious leadership style
• Ability to work systematically and handle stress

In addition, we see that you have a good operational understanding of the practical implementation of projects and can use this in dialogue with both project teams and customers.
