Spring is just around the corner! Therefore, the City Management Area is looking for a colleague who wants to join the team responsible for the maintenance of green areas and outdoor environments.

If you are interested in working at City/Strandängen during the period from April to September, you will have a total of 36 colleagues with Maths as the management chief. In the team that now needs reinforcement for the season, you will have Mattias Thorslund as your immediate supervisor. You will be based at our garden and transport facility at Strandängen.

Main responsibilities for the position:

  • Watering shrubs and trees
  • Lawn mowing
  • Weeding flower beds
  • Cleaning
  • Some machine service
  • Transport tasks
  • Assist colleagues as needed

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude towards and experience in practical work.

To succeed in this role, you should have completed high school education. It is advantageous if you have experience working with green areas, outdoor environments, and gardening. We also see it as a plus if you have experience with garden machinery and operating a wheel loader. A B driver's license is required to get around our various areas.

You need to have a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing, with colleagues and tenants. If you also master other languages, we consider that an advantage.

As a person, you are good at planning and prioritizing your tasks, even on busy days. You see what needs to be done, make things happen, and understand the importance of sharing information and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Completed high school education
  • B driver's license

Meritorious

  • Experience with garden machinery and wheel loaders
  • Previous work experience with green areas, outdoor environments, and gardening
  • Knowledge of a language other than Swedish
