The Role of Nurse with Us

The work involves dialogue and collaboration with several stakeholders where teamwork and problem-solving are a significant part of the job. As a nurse focusing on home healthcare in the patient's ordinary residence (staying at home) or as a nurse focusing on a special accommodation (care and nursing home), you are responsible in your professional role for leading the nursing work and together with other employees making a comprehensive assessment of the patient's needs for health and medical care, rehabilitation, and care.

The work is very independent, but you will be part of a team consisting of nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nursing assistants.

Your Profile

As a person, you are accommodating in your approach and attentive to your surroundings. You create new contacts as well as maintain your current work relationships. You take responsibility and drive your work forward, delivering results and prioritizing your work effectively. You see opportunities in changes, take your own initiatives, and come up with new approaches to work-related issues. You express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing, as this is required in daily work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for you who:

• is a licensed nurse or graduating in January 2026.
• holds a B driver's license

About Us at Home Healthcare

Home Healthcare in Kungsbacka municipality is a large organization with nearly 200 employees, including nurses/district nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Home Healthcare is responsible for health and medical care interventions for patients of all ages who are enrolled in home healthcare. Patients live in ordinary housing, in care and nursing homes, group homes, short-term accommodations, or participate in daily activities in the municipality. In close dialogue with patients and relatives, we shape good and safe care.

The nursing organization is organized into geographical districts: west, north, south, center, and on-call/resource operations. This position includes the western district, which consists of Onsala, Kolla, City, and Varla.

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a permanent full-time position with placement according to agreement. You will work in Home Healthcare West. The schedule will include shifts every fifth weekend and one evening per schedule period. We also have holiday schedules.
