Jord Café Malmö is looking for a Shift Leader – part-time/on demand

The position

As a Shift Leader with us, you will be responsible for ensuring the daily operations run smoothly. You are a present leader during your shifts, supporting the team, solving challenges, and ensuring our guests have a great experience – every time.

Responsibilities may include:

• Leading and distributing tasks during the shift
• Supporting the team in both kitchen and service
• Ensuring good service and high quality
• Handling cash and opening and closing the café
• Introducing and guiding new employees
• Managing staff planning during absences and ensuring proper staffing during the shift
• Creating a safe, positive, and structured work environment

We are looking for someone who

• Has previous experience in the service industry, preferably as a supervisor or shift leader
• Is confident in a leadership role and motivated to guide the team
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and remains calm even when things get busy.
• Has good communication skills and an eye for structure
• Is passionate about sustainability and plant-based food
• Is humble, solution-oriented, and puts the team before themselves
