The Meal Unit's chefs and kitchen assistants serve approximately 3000 portions daily to our guests, from preschool children to the municipality's seniors. Our goal is to constantly develop and inspire while serving food that is both delicious, sustainable, and healthy. Every day should offer a new dining experience.

The Meal and Cleaning Unit aims to digitalize its operations as much as possible with the help of new innovative tools. With us, you will have a chance to grow and develop in the direction you want, alongside friendly and service-oriented colleagues who help each other succeed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a kitchen assistant who will be placed at Medborgarhuset and Vårboskolan in Arlöv.

As a kitchen assistant in these operations, you will prepare school meals and be responsible for the refreshments and lunch orders at Medborgarhuset together with your colleagues in the kitchens. You will be present in both operations daily, depending on orders.

Within the kitchen operations, dishwashing and cleaning will also be a natural part of the day. Work for safe food through our digital self-control will also be included.

QUALIFICATIONS

Personal Attributes

• Good collaboration skills - As you will work with colleagues and have daily customer contact
• Solution-oriented - Solve problems that arise at short notice
• Creative - Create and present meals with that little extra
• At least five years of experience from large kitchens/restaurants
• At least five years of experience in catering
• Culinary education or equivalent is a requirement
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement
